In a more enabling political context, Comoros‘ macroeconomic performance continues to improve. Economic activity is trending up; the external position has strengthened; and significant gains in fiscal consolidation have been made thanks to unexpectedly strong revenue collection, including non-tax receipts under the economic citizenship program, and to enhanced expenditure control.
